Chapelton planning applications submitted

We have now submitted the first planning applications for Chapelton to Aberdeenshire Council.

The applications include an outline application for the first 4,045 houses of the community, as well as a full application for the first phase, Phase 1A. The first phase includes approximately 800 homes, as well as a neighbourhood centre featuring shops, offices and parks. This phase forms half of Chapelton’s first neighbourhood, Cairnhill, which will later include a primary school.

Documents from both the Application for Planning Permission in Principle and the Application for Full Planning Permission are publically available and can be downloaded here. Documents include Environmental Statements, Landscape Statements, Pre-Application Consultation Reports, Design and Access Statements, and Infrastructure Reports for both the outline and the full Phase 1A applications. Architectural drawings and a Pattern Book also provide the detailed plans for the development of Phase 1A.
